We had a quiet meal à deux Christmas day.
We used Babette's Sèvres plates with the Chrysanthemum silver.
For the first course a nice Terrine de légumes.
Followed by a pheasant (stuffed with Thyme and Rosemary as well as its neck and liver), wild rice and endives. A nice Vacqueras to smooth things down.
The weather is odd: snow, followed by freezing rain then some old fashioned rain...
So far our Arp Rosemary is managing to survive the elements...
